2011 ST. CROIX 12 HOURS LONG DAYS - BUT A GREAT EXPERIENCE 6-7 August 2011, St. Croix, USVI National Guard SRP. This years event was housed at the Charles Harwood Medical Complex in Christianstead. We were able to provide immunization, blood collection, colestech and EKG services in a well managed temperature control environment. We want to thank specially David Davis, facilities manager for the Deparment of Health for all his unconditional support.

The 2010 Virgin Islands United States Army National Guard (SRP) took place in ST Thomas & ST Croix during 5-8 August and 9-12 September 2010. At the event we provided laboratory functions (G6PD, COLESTECH, HIV), immunization (Antrax, Hepb, HepA, Typhoid, TD) and EKG testing services. Soldiers were grouped in an average of 100-200 per day. The events were finished at proper times for the team of nurses to enjoy the evening by relaxing in local Virgin Islands tourist spots. It’s known that our nurses got plenty of adrenaline to be able to do both work and fun. We all had the opportunity to enjoy our new HQ base at the new Marriott Renaissance Carambola Beach Resort in St Croix. What a beautiful place to end the day of hard work at just steps from the beach.
PuertoRicoNurses.Com - St. Thomas Virgin Islands U.S. Soldier Immunizations Campaign We salute our Registered Nurse delegation for their professionalism and commitment. They endured long hours without missing a smile. During the month of August 2009 a team of 15 Puerto Rico Registered Nurses were responsible of conducting immunizations, HIV testing, G6PD testing, and Cholestech testing and EKG testing for over 300 assigned U.S. soldiers from St. Thomas, Virgin Island. In a period of 2 days they accomplished their mission without any major incident. This was the first time the PuetoRicoNurses team was scheduled outside of Puerto Rico. PuertoRicoNurses team has a 5 year track record in SRP's (Service Readiness Programs) immunizations, blood sample collections, physical health assessments and EKG testing. The team composed of more than 60 trained local RN's its already responsible of more than 5000 Puerto Rico U.S. Army Reserve Troops through the year.
